Objectives of the cms page
Webpage Page features allows to configure the pages of the website, the creation, the edition and the publication of contents while facilitating the formatting of the page quickly without modify the source code. It may be used for the home page and also for About Us, Customer Service, Privacy Policy...etc.
Section description
Go to left side navigation.
Click on Config ->> webpage.
Then click on "Add new" icon on the menu to crate a new page.
In the cms page list, you can also click directly on the URL link to view the page.
The main purpose of the feature is to allow an admin to use custom layouts for CMS pages. The following instructions walk you through each step to create a basic page :
- On the Admin site, go to Config > Webpage and Click on "Add new"
| Name of the field | Type | Mandatory | Description |
| Title | Text field | Yes | Insertion of the page name . This name appears in the content heading box in the top of the page. |
| URL | text field | Yes | we use only the part after "/" Example : https://marketing.demo.valuein.fr/about.html We use : /about.html |
| Publication Date | date time picker | No | date of publication of the page created .This can be useful to schedule design which can be used for campaign. |
| Status | dropdown | Yes | "Inactive/Active/not published" If you don't want to publish the page immediately, set status on unpublished or inactive. However, if you want to publish it, set it on active and you specify the date of publication as explained above. |
| Image | file upload | Yes | On the Image section, you can download an image to display directly on the page. |
| Preview | Text | Yes | Title of the page,The preview and title both are define the title. If you mention the same term, you will repeat the same title. |
| Content | rich text editor | Yes | In this block of contents, you can include text, images,widgets. |
The page is displayed with the different elements:
- title
- Preview
- Content, including links
- Image at the top left
