How to navigate :

How to export file
Step 01 :
Select any section that user wants to export. For an example, let's select Billing >> Product tax classes data to export.
Step 02 :
Click on the Manual section text field. Then already existing "product tax classes" should be appeared here.
Step 03 :
Or else, just tick on "Export all" check box. Then all the data will be exported. Please note that user can select multiple data to export at the same time.
( For an example, "Incremental numbers", "Invoice API"," Product tax classes" data at the same time can be exported.
Step 04 :
Then click on "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.
Step 05 :
It will redirect to "Review" window. Once user click on first column name which is the main section name ( here the first column name is "Billing" , as "Product tax classes" is sub section of "Billing" ) , it will open the export details.
Step 06 :
Click on "Execute" button
Then "Download" button will be enabled to export data.
Step 06 :
Click on "Download" button. Then zip file will be downloaded.
FAQ
Why does some unselected entities are auto selected when selecting items to export ?
Because to export some components we need also prerequisite objects to be sure to create the selected objects in the target system
Steps to reproduce :
Expected output:
only 6 items of "Products and groups" section, should be selected in the "Review" window.
Actual output:
7 items of "Products and groups" section, 2 items of "Billing" section, 4 items of "Content" section, and 1 item of "shipping" section are selected in the "Review" window. Please refer the attached image herewith.
Answer :
This is the intended behavior. Exporting a product require other item to be exported as well.
The same rule apply for others entities. If a sub-entity is required, it will be exported when exporting the parent entity.
